Winterwell 2010

In a word- amazing. Thanks so much to everyone who played a part. Whether you danced, sang, drank or just slept, the atmosphere of the whole weekend was amazing. It’s pretty safe to say that 2010 was our best year yet.

So here’s to you for leaving work early on Friday to get there in time for the England game, and keeping your smiles on even when we drew nil-nil. Jumping up to ska from ‘Los Albertos’ on the main stage even when it rained. Being quiet in the quiet camp site. Dancing to old skool in the Nostalgia tent and overdoing it a little on the Friday night…again! Drinking our Absolut cocktail bar absolutely dry of Bloody Marys on the Saturday morning. Getting involved with the Roald Dahl theme on the Saturday afternoon and making the best fancy dress costumes you will see at any festival, EVER. Well, till next year! Finding all the golden tickets, competing in the Willy Wonk off, staying up to watch the sun rise with Silverflint, getting a little sunburnt on Sunday, playing in the 5 a side football tournament, singing your heart out on the main stage with our Rockaoke band and having a proper old knees up with the impromptu Cancan.

And above all- knowing when to just lie back in the sun and take it all in…

Say what? You weren’t there?!
